Internships
Roanoke Wildlife Rescue offers rewarding internships with hands-on experience in wildlife care and environmental education. Interns work alongside experienced staff, gaining practical skills and insight into wildlife rehabilitation and conservation. This opportunity allows interns to make a difference while helping protect Virginia’s native wildlife.
Release Sites
Wildlife rehabilitation is a crucial part of preserving our natural ecosystems, and we often need safe places to release rehabilitated animals. If you have property where wildlife can thrive and are willing to allow releases, you can make a difference. Your support helps these animals return safely to the wild and supports the variety of plants and animals in our community.
